Cancel any time. Cancellation always takes effect at the end of your current billing period — you keep Pro access until then. We don't pro-rate refunds for unused time.
Cancel a web (Stripe) subscription
- From the dashboard, go to Settings → Pro → Manage subscription.
- Stripe's billing portal opens in a new tab.
- Click Cancel plan. Confirm.
You'll keep Pro through the end of your current period (Stripe will tell you the exact date). After that, your account flips back to Free — you keep all your content; you just lose access to the Pro features listed in What's included in Pro.
Cancel an iOS (Apple) subscription
- On your iPhone: Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions → FacultyDex → Cancel Subscription.
- Or, from inside the app: Settings → Manage subscription opens the same Apple sheet.
- Confirm.
Same deal — Pro access continues to the end of your current Apple billing period, then your account drops back to Free.
Refund policy
We don't offer refunds for partial subscription periods, including unused portions of monthly or annual terms. The full text is in our Terms of Service section 6.
For purchases made through Apple, refund decisions are made by Apple, not us. Submit a request via reportaproblem.apple.com. Apple sometimes grants refunds for accidental purchases, double-charges, or unused annual subscriptions cancelled within a few days of purchase — but it's at their discretion.
What happens to your content after cancellation
Nothing. Your account, profile, publications, lab members, custom domain — all retained. If you cancel and your custom-page count is over the free-tier limit, the custom pages are preserved but hidden from the public site. They re-appear if you re-subscribe.
Pausing instead of cancelling
We don't currently offer subscription pausing. If you want a temporary break, cancel — you can re-subscribe whenever, no penalty.
